Medical humanities recenters health in a broader social, cultural, and historical context, using humanities and social sciences methods to analyze the contexts of illness and health. Join Dean Jones for a conversation with Lakshmi Krishnan, M.D., PhD to explore how Georgetown is leading on this cross disciplinary and holistic approach to health through her research and teaching and via a new partnership with Howard University that will contribute to improving health disparities in Washington, D.C.

Calling all future Hoya Docs! Join us for a kid friendly event in the simulation lab. Activities will include health care learning games and training on a basic medical skill. This event is best for school aged children and their grown ups.

Join the Medical School community for a fun-filled family BBQ on the patio behind the Med-Dent building. There will be BBQ, beer, wine, and activities for the whole family. Children 10 and under may attend free of charge.
